Sideloading with Feather
Feather is a new open-source ipa signer.
Blocking Revokes
Next we are going to install a DNS to block revokes. First open this link in your Safari browser. Expect a popup to appear asking you to allow the configuration profile. Click allow then open the settings app.
In the settings app, click profile downloaded, then click install.
You can confirm the DNS is installed by opening Settings > General > VPN and seeing the profile called.
Downloading Feather
Download the .ipa for Feather below on your iDevice. Confirm you downloaded the .ipa and not the .tipa.
Installing Feather
To install Feather we’ll be using Vinaire Web Signer. To begin, open the Vinaire Web Signer website below.
Then click Browse in the IPA section and upload the Feather ipa you downloaded before.
Uploading your certificate
After that, open this AppleP12 telegram group and download the latest certificate. Unzip the file and upload the .mobileprovision and .p12 to Vinaire Web Signer. The password for the certificate should be AppleP12.com.
After importing that, click upload and sign.
Then when prompted click sign ipa, and then click Install IPA.
After that click install when prompted again, and move on to the next step after it completes installing and appears on your home screen.
Import your certificate
When you enter Feather, you’ll be greeted by this screen, click continue.
Go to Settings, select Add Certificate under signing, and upload both your certificate (.p12), the .mobileprovision file and enter the password, which can be downloaded from our dashboard or any other signing provider you use.
That’s it! You can now return to the main Settings tab and see the status of your certificate under Signing.
Sign your IPA
Go to the Library tab, then select Import. Upload all the IPA files you want to sign from either local files or from a URL.
You should now see your app under Downloaded Apps. Click on the App you want to sign, then select Sign “App Name”.
The signing progress may take some time depending on the size of your IPA files, so please wait for it to complete.
And you’re all set! If your device is running iOS 17.6 or below, simply select Install “App Name” confirm the installation, and the app should appear on your home screen. If not, please follow the steps below.
Online Signing Mode
This step is NOT required for those running iOS 17.6 or lower. However, it is required for those running iOS 17 and ABOVE.
Return to the Settings tab, under Signing Server you should see a toggle for Online Install Method. Turn it on and try sign / install your IPA
